My Personal Tarot Reading Philosophy
Tarot is a wonderful tool for giving guidance, different perspectives and insight into one’s self. I do not believe the future is set in stone and what I love about tarot is it never replaces our freewill. When I read tarot cards I use intuition, psychic abilities and messages from my spirit guides as ways to give as much information, so you can get the most from the cards and make the best decisions for you.
Universal guidance comes through if you are ready to receive this information from your higher self and I often find clients are looking for input for something they already have on their horizon but just aren’t ready to commit or go full steam ahead until they get that confirmation from another avenue.
I will be open and honest with you, ensuring I use tarot as a way to empower you. I don’t use tarot to predict the future; we have so many available paths on our journey and it’s up to one’s self to choose the path best to follow. I will help support your journey ensuring I respect your values, beliefs, personal resources and capacity for self-discovery to promote control over your life.
As a Professional Tarot Card Reader
I do not replace a qualified healthcare professional, financial advisor, lawyer, counsellor or any other provider outside of tarot. I will not provide advice on these areas and my readings are in no way, shape or form a valid replacement for these services.
If appropriate I will suggest you consult with a qualified professional should if by connection or in passing the reading touches on those areas mentioned in the above paragraph or asks for answers in the tarot that lead me to believe you or someone close to you could be endangered or put in a life-threatening situation.
I reserve the right to refuse service at my discretion. This includes when I feel a client is using tarot readings to substitute, instead of supplement help from the above-mentioned qualified providers.
I am an open-minded, honest, empathetic and compassionate individual that respects all people as individuals without prejudice. I will not tolerate abusive, aggressive, violent or derogatory behaviour of any kind.
Clients 18 and Over
- I will not knowingly read for clients under the age of 18
- Readings will not occur if there is anyone under the age of 18 present where certain topics are inappropriate near sensitive ears
- I will not read on behalf of anyone under 18
Clients Under 18
- If you are under 18 you must have parent or guardian consent and preferably a parent/guardian accompanying you
- Readings will not occur if there is anyone under the age of 18 present who does not have parental/guardian consent
I Do Not Perform Third Party Readings
- This includes but is not limited to readings about the personal affairs, business, intentions, mental faculties or activities of third parties for example partners, family, friends, colleagues who are not present at the reading as would not have provided consent for such information to be shared or discussed. (example – Is my ex in a new relationship? When will my child get married? How much does my neighbour earn?
- These questions are the spiritual equivalent to physical snooping, reading others mail or asking them inappropriate questions. You wouldn’t do this to their face and your higher self wouldn’t allow anything to come through, this line of questioning doesn’t serve you, empower you and is not why I read tarot cards. If asked a question outside of my personal ethics, I will perform the reading once contacting you and the question has been rephrased to empower you as the focus
- Questions will be agreed upon by client and tarot reader to ensure the question empowers the client
Adherence to Applicable Laws and Legislation
- I maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance cover for the protection of clients and myself
- I adhere to the Code of Conduct for Certain Health Care Workers South Australia
- In certain jurisdictions a tarot professional is required to disclose to clients that tarot readings should be for entertainment purposes only, and if such a law applies to your reading then you are hereby on notice of that
Scope of Profession, Services, Ethics and Limitations
- I conduct tarot readings within the scope of my experience, personal and professional ethical boundaries
- I’ll never misrepresent outcomes of readings offered and only provide these within scope of training and experience
- I incorporate astrology, numerology, crystals, colour meanings, symbolism, chakras and other spiritual aspects as part of my tarot reading scope which is determined on what comes through to me on an individual reading basis
Receipt of Online Readings
- For general readings, I will complete the reading within 48 hours of payment receipt
- For custom question readings the 48 hour turnaround refers to agreement of the selected question/questions that empower you. If you ask an inappropriate question for the tarot, I will endeavour to help rephrase questions to maintain your empowerment
Fees, Payments and Refund Policy
- This is a paid service. The fee will be agreed and paid for prior to the reading occurring
- I do not give refunds if you do not like what I see in the tarot cards. It is important I am open and honest in my interpretation of the tarot
- 24 hours required notice for cancellation or you will be charged the full fee
- I only speak English and I am unable to provide tarot readings in any other language
- If using a third party payment service such as PayPal, you are responsible for understanding and agreeing to their Terms of Service prior to paying for one of my services
- I state my prices accurately and openly
- I will Inform you of costs prior to agreeing to undertake a paid service if you request a custom reading not listed on my website
- I will disclose if I earn gratuities from any products I recommend
- Once a reading has been completed, I will be unable to further expand on the cards of your reading. I am happy to answer questions if you would like some clarification over something in your reading but once a reading is complete the energy connection is no longer available for further expansion
Continuing Professional Development
- To best serve; I will expand my knowledge of tarot, incorporate other modalities and keep updated with changes to best practice techniques and use of Tarot
Public Service
- I will dedicate a percentage of my monthly schedule to help others struggling financially or with accessibility through free tarot readings to empower them on their journey
- Contact me by email kimberly@lovingguidingenergy.com to discuss your needs. If I feel you will be better served by another professional first, I will suggest you seek referral to their care first before undertaking any readings by me
- Referrals will be based on which qualified professional will best serve you as ascertained from my best judgement
Confidentiality and Privacy Policy
- I keep tarot readings as well as private and personal client information confidential
- I retain and store records of client readings, private and personal details as by a means of contacting clients, supplying them with a copy of their reading and to discuss trends in their cards from previous readings only
- I will reveal personal or private information relating to a client tarot reading if I reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent substantial bodily harm or death, or a court order overrides the confidentiality
- For online readings I will ask your full date of birth and name, firstly to ensure you are 18 or over to comply with the laws of many countries such as the USA and so I can provide accurate astrological information about you as part of your tarot reading

- I will facilitate safe working reading practices compliant with occupational workplace health and safety standards, use best quality products ensuring proper hygiene and equipment standards of safety and knowledge on proper usage
